Gold Price in Pakistan Falls Below Rs. 4.5 Lac

The gold price in Pakistan fell sharply on Tuesday, September 15, with 24-karat gold dropping below the Rs. 4.5 lakh per tola mark, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 24-karat gold declined by Rs. 4,000 per tola, settling at Rs. 449,336.

Gold Continues to Lose Value

The latest decline follows a rise of Rs. 3,800 recorded on Monday, when gold closed at Rs. 453,336 per tola.

Tuesday's fall takes the price below the Rs. 450,000 level again.

The decline in Pakistan also followed weakness in the international gold market.

International Gold Price Falls

In the international market, gold declined by $40, settling at $4,268 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to the APGJSA figures reported by ProPakistani.

The international movement continues to influence local gold prices in Pakistan.

Silver Price Remains Unchanged

While gold prices declined, silver remained unchanged on Tuesday.

The price of silver stood at Rs. 6,802 per tola.
