Applications are officially open for the One-Year (Three-Semester) Post Diploma Training Program (PDTP) in Nuclear Power Plant Technology. Offered by a progressive public sector organization (Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission - PAEC), this program provides technical training to diploma holders and science graduates across Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

The specialized training will be conducted concurrently at two institutes:

  1. Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE), Karachi

  2. Chashma Centre of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT), Mianwali

Selection is strictly merit-based, determined by performance in a written screening test followed by an interview. Candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the training program along with long-term career placement opportunities upon successful completion.

Candidates holding a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in any of the following technical fields are eligible to apply:

  • Metallurgy

  • Instrumentation & Control Technology

Note for Science Graduates: Candidates holding a 2-year B.Sc. or Associate Degree in Science (ADS) with Physics or Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are also eligible, provided they passed F.Sc. Pre-Engineering with First Division.

Eligibility Criteria & Terms

  • Nationality: Pakistani and AJK Nationals.

  • Academic Performance: Minimum 60% marks (First Division) in both Matriculation (SSC) and DAE / B.Sc. / ADS.

  • Equivalence Certificate: Candidates holding a DAE in specialized sub-fields other than those explicitly listed must attach an Equivalence Certificate from their respective Board of Technical Education.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as of August 11, 2026 (Date of birth must be on or after August 11, 2001).

  • Result Awaiting Students: Final year students expecting a First Division can apply. However, final mark sheets and degrees must be submitted before January 1, 2027.

  • Government Employees: Candidates serving in Government, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel with NOC.

How to Apply Online or via Post

Applicants can complete their submission through either an Online Application Portal or via Postal Mail:

Option 1: Apply Online (Fee: Rs. 1,000/-)

  1. Visit the official portal at www.kinpoe.edu.pk and register an account.

  2. Fill out your profile with personal, contact, and educational details.

  3. Print the bank deposit slip and pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- at any branch of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) or Askari Bank.

  4. Upload the paid receipt copy and a recent passport-sized photograph to your online application form.

  5. Print the pre-filled form and send the printed form along with the original paid bank receipt via urgent courier to KINPOE.

Option 2: Apply by Post (Fee: Rs. 1,500/-)

  1. Download the Application Form and Admit Card directly from www.kinpoe.edu.pk.

  2. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,500/- using the offline deposit voucher at NBP or Askari Bank.

  3. Fill out the application form completely and attach the original paid bank deposit receipt.

  4. Send the package via courier service to the postal address below.

Important Fee Notice: Fee payments are accepted ONLY through prescribed bank vouchers at physical NBP or Askari Bank branches. Payments via JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or mobile banking apps are strictly not accepted.
